Jimmy Page was one of the most innovative guitarists of all time. His first claim to fame was with The Yardbirds which eventually disbanded as Page wanted to start his dream Psychadellic Blues band. Led Zeppelin was formed in 1968 with Page as the leader and main guitarist. It was with Led Zeppelin that Page's popularity soared as his guitar solos and riffs drew wide audience. He remained with Zeppelin until 1980 when the band broke up due to the sudden death of drummer John Bonham. After Led Zeppelin, Page worked with Robert Plant on a few albums in the late 80s.
